Completed in 2025, the Pharmacy Integration Project supported the development of stronger connections between pharmacy services and wider health and care systems. The final report provides a comprehensive overview of the project’s achievements, key findings, and recommendations. You can also access a series of webinars and supporting resources designed to help pharmacy teams build on the project’s learning.

Hypertension Case Finding Service

The Hypertension case-finding service is an Advanced service through community pharmacies, in public-facing communications, the service is described as the NHS Blood Pressure Check Service.

Any suitably trained and competent pharmacy staff (pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and other non-registered members of the pharmacy team) to provide the service.

It is essential that ABPMs are provided to patients when needed and your pharmacy can offer this as part of the service and when refused appropriate clinical patient records made.

Pharmacy Contraception Service Resources

The Pharmacy Contraception Service (PCS) is an Advanced service that allows the initiation and ongoing supply of oral contraception (OC) from community pharmacies along with the supply of Emergency Contraception (EHC).
