Did you know that community pharmacies can advertise vacancies on the NHS Jobs website for free?

**It is simple to register, just complete the online form here.

To be eligible, your pharmacy will be asked to evidence that you have an NHS contract, and you will be asked the end date of that contract. You will need an online Privacy Policy which includes information about how you will handle and retain applicant data, as well as a company logo. When your account is created, the person responsible for recruitment will become an NHS Jobs ‘Super User’ enabling them to approve job listings prior to being published.

By turning the NHS Jobs website into the hub for community pharmacy vacancies, it supports our workforce challenges and imbeds our sector as a key NHS provider, where our vacancies sit alongside NHS Trusts and GP surgeries.

It also takes advantage of the various pathways students are directed to for NHS careers advice and to see NHS pharmacy vacancies. Core platforms such as NHS Health Careers and Pharmacy Careers websites, along with the work of ICS training hubs, all help to drive the public to the NHS Jobs website.

To give you an idea of the traffic to the site, in April 2026 there were over 11,000 live adverts on NHS Jobs, and since 2019 there have been over 2 million adverts published. There are 3.3m jobseekers registered on NHS Jobs, and each month around 50,000 more applicants sign up to begin their job search.
