Suffolk – Local Mandatory Campaign – Reducing Medicines Waste – from Monday 17th November until Sunday 14th December 2025.
Following the publication of the changes to the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) for 2025/26, all community pharmacies are contractually required to participate in up to two local Integrated Care Board (ICB) health campaigns during the year 2025/26.
These campaigns are intended to increase awareness of key public health messages and local priorities so that people are empowered to take actions which can improve their health and that patients are supported in making informed decisions about their care. The support of community pharmacy teams is vital in helping to target ‘hard to reach’ sectors of the population who are not frequently exposed to health promotion activities in other parts of the health or social care sector.
The first Suffolk & North East Essex ICB campaign will focus on Reducing Medicines Waste and will run for four weeks from Monday 17th November until Sunday 14th December 2025.
In Resources below you will find electronic copies of the printed campaign posters and flyers that will be sent to each pharmacy in advance of the campaign. The materials will be delivered via a courier service and will be addressed to the Responsible Pharmacist.
