Suffolk Pharmacies – Very Brief Advice (Stop Smoking) Training Course Information

Feel good Suffolk Training opportunity.

• Smoking remains the leading preventable cause of hospital admission and death in the UK, taking nearly 80000 lives and costing the UK £17 billion each year.

• Some people are more likely to smoke than others and this massively contributes to health inequalities and lower healthy life expectancy amongst your patients, clients and service users.

• This 1-hour training session is designed to help you feel confident to have a 30 second conversation about smoking as part of your role and know how to guide those who want to quit to the right help and support, support that makes it 3 times more likely that they will be able to quit for good.
