Mandatory Stay Well this Summer Pharmacy Campaign Running between Monday 27th July and Friday 4th September.
Following changes to the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) in 2025/26, all community pharmacies are required to participate in up to two local Integrated Care Board (ICB) health campaigns each year.
The first Norfolk and Suffolk ICB campaign this year will focus on summer skin health and will run for six weeks from Monday 27th July to Friday 4th September 2026.
The campaign aims to promote sun safety, reduce the risk of sunburn and skin damage and encourage people to seek advice from their local community pharmacy when needed. It aligns to the ICB’s wider Stay Well This Summer initiative which shares tips and trusted advice to help local residents and visiting holidaymakers make the most of the season. Community pharmacy teams play a vital role in sharing these important public health messages and reaching people who may have limited contact with other health and care services.
An electronic copy of the campaign poster has been cascaded to all pharmacies. The ICB have also developed a range of optional digital resources, including a digital screen display, email signature and social media post which you are welcome to use to support the campaign.
Printed posters and a covering letter will be delivered to each pharmacy before the campaign launch via courier. Please do keep an eye out so that enclosed posters can be displayed in your pharmacy.
Actions for pharmacy teams:
- Display the campaign poster prominently within your pharmacy between Monday 27th July and Friday 4th September.
- Ensure team members are confident in providing basic sun safety and skin health advice.
Participation confirmation:
We’d be grateful if you could please submit evidence of your participation in the campaign by completing the following MS Form – click here – by Monday 3rd August. The form should take no longer than five minutes to complete.
